Elsie Abbs,aged 93 years old left this world today peacefully with love ,affection,dignity and
respect.Elsie,affectionaly known as Abbey to all who loved and knew her will be sorely missed by her
children Shirley ,who cared for her in the twilight hours of her life and her son Geoffrey.Abbey was
the Grandmother to Dawn,Michelle,Simon and Lesley.Greatgrandmother of Amy,Thomas and Kirsty,she was
beloved and will be sorely missed by all.
Abbey was a born fighter and survivor,who enjoyed speaking to all, young and old,and imparting her
sagacity which was gathered throughout such turbulent historical times.We will miss her wisdom and
curiosity and most importantly Abbey.God bless and protect you my love.
